After leaving Razorfish late ine 2005, I finished the year and into 2026 Freelancing for R/GA. My buddy and talented writing partner, Diego Sarmiento (www.diegodidit) and I were brought in to work on the brand campaign as well as pitch Superbowl ideas for TurboTax. While we came in the runner up on the big game (shoutout to Michelle Passe for the amazing idea and insight, so glad to help bright your vision as far as we did!), we realized we were the most sport-loving people on the team.
So, we also helped out on some NFL promo vignettes, some WWE cross promotions and most importantly, their big NCAA March Madness commercial with the TBS team, which we wrote and saw through production.
